Detailing
Detailing is a term used to describe advanced valeting techniques that require specialized equipment, products and skills.
The main goals are typically beautification and protection but also cover minor paintwork repair and surface restoration, as well as areas of the car that are normally ignored such as the engine - engine bay, wheels - wheel arches, trims and chrome work e.t.c. - To give greater attention to 'detail' creating show standard results.
High Quality Wax Or Paint Sealant Application
A standard or full valet can be upgraded by having a high quality wax or sealant professionally applied to your car's freshly polished paintwork creating a deeper, longer lasting finish. This can cost from as little as £15.00 extra depending on which sealant or wax is used.
Waxes & Sealants?
Waxes and sealants are non abrasive products that dramatically improve, enhance and extend the life of the finish created by the polishing process. Applying either of them gives a greater depth of shine and longer protection.
Take your car's paintwork to - Another level!!!
After being thoroughly washed, your car will have this 4 stage process applied to it's paintwork. - Preparation(1/2), Polish(3) and Wax/Seal(4). This will dramatically improve your vehicle's appearance by giving the paintwork an amazing 'mirror like' clarity and depth of shine, together with ultimate protection that will last for months.
The paintwork firstly is prepared by removing any contaminants that may be present such as tar, over-spray, tree sap and brake dust. This is achieved by using a technique called 'Clay Barring,' which involves passing a special lubricated clay over the paintwork which lifts the contaminants, exposing clean paint. This provides more surface area to be polished and for the sealant or wax to ad heir to.
Even if you can't see any obvious contaminants on the surface of your car's paintwork, you will be amazed at what the clay actually removes! A pre-polish cleaner is applied with a buffing machine to further clean the paintwork and remove oxidation, minor scratches and water spots.
Stage 3
The paintwork is polished with a buffing machine with a high quality polish.
Stage 4
A high quality Hard Wax or Sealant is applied - the choice is yours.

Oxidized & faded paintwork correction Mainly for older cars, red and white cars are particularly prone to this, paintwork appears dull, faded and rough to touch - red cars look quite pink. Swirl mark correction Swirl marks are typically caused by automated car washes or poor washing and polishing techniques. Minor scratches & scuff correction The above paintwork problems can be rectified by using specialized methods, products and equipment to restore the paintwork back to it's former glory. Alloy Wheel Detailing

All dirt, brake dust and tar is removed from the wheels and a specialist alloy wheel sealant is applied, then the tyres are dressed. This process enhances the looks of your alloy wheels and protects them against corrosion.

Odour & Bacteria Neutralising Service
This involves a specialized machine being placed inside your car which admits a 'fog', reaching areas otherwise impossible to treat - air vents, headlining, air conditioning and under seats.
The fog carries a sanitising chemical which destroys bacteria such as E.coli and MRSA on a molecular level, completely removing the odour.
This treatment is completely safe, environmentally friendly and effective on odours such as tobacco, mould / damp, pet smells, vomit and dairy.
This service costs £10.00 or is included in a full valet.

Engine Bay Detailing
This area is often neglected but makes a tremendous improvement to a car's over all condition. The engine bay is de-greased, pressure washed and dressed.
